Sebring, FL

Sebring, FL is the seat of Highlands County and nicknamed "The City on the Circle" in reference to Circle Drive, the center of the Sebring Downtown Historic District.  It is the home of the Sebring International Raceway. Opened in 1950 the Raceway is best known as the host of the 12 Hours of Sebring, an annual Sports Car Championship race won by racing legends such as Mario Andretti. The central feature of Sebring is beautiful Lake Jackson, one of Central Florida’s largest lakes that is encircled by the community. Sebring is a 90-minute drive south from Orlando International Airport and the home of South Florida State College in neighboring Avon Park.
